1. Marigolds

2. Zinnia

Zinnias are an inexpensive option to add some stunning colors to your garden this summer. In addition, these flowers will bring in butterflies so that you will see new insects in your garden too! Zinnias are also perfect summer flowers as they do not need anything but the sun all day! 

3. Globe Amaranth

The last annual is the Globe Amaranth. This flower is one of the more popular flowers for the summer and grows blossoms that look like cheerleader’s pom-poms and come in white, red, and purple colors. This flower grows in multiple soils and moisture levels and requires little maintenance.

4. Aster

This is a garden favorite and is usually lavender or purple hue, but it can also be found in pink and white. Aster is a delicate flower but does well in the summer heat and adds a beautiful touch to any garden or flower bed you may have. 

5. Blanket Flower

The blanket flower is a long-blooming flower with a red petal that is immersed in yellow. When added to a garden or flower bed, the blanket flower is a good concept for a summer bouquet or container.

6. Hibiscus

The classic and popular hibiscus is quite a huge flower. They bring a tropical vibe to any garden or flower bed and go perfectly with any tropical-themed landscape. They do need a lot of water and space to live up to their potential fully. 

7. Purple Coneflower

This is an elegant flower, and it grows very quickly. It also happens to bring about butterflies and birds into your garden! This flower needs space to grow to survive.

8. Black-eyed Susan

This flower is known as one of the more famous wildflowers and looks lovely in any garden. They are a strong flower that excels in the sunlight and loves to show off its marvelous golden color. 

9. Lantana

This flower comes in a wide range of hues and lasts all season. They are extremely drought tolerant flowers, which makes them ideal for the summer. Besides allowing your garden to pop with color, they also do not need a lot of maintenance. 

10. Verbena

Lastly, this flower comes in multiple colors and creates a cascading effect in your garden or flower bed. They grow best when planted in pots, flower boxes, and even on retaining walls!
